This was the scene on Tuesday at the Iron Lane Junction Improvement scheme in Stechford, Birmingham as we lifted five glacial boulders into their permanent home on the new roundabout. Ranging in weight from 6 tonnes to 12 tonnes the boulders up to 3.6m long took 7 hours in total to crane into position and concrete into place.
