McPhillips backs new Shropshire Business podcast

Shropshire Company of the Year McPhillips has sponsored a brand new business podcast featuring a mix of interviews, news and views from across the county.

Shropshire Business magazine and Shropshire Live have collaborated on ‘The Shropshire Business Podcast’, a fortnightly show available on the Podbean podcasting platform as well as their websites.

McPhillips managing director Paul Inions said: “We have been doing business in Shropshire for more than 60 years, delivering civil engineering and construction excellence.

“Shropshire is at the heart of everything we do, so sponsoring the new Shropshire Business podcast is a natural fit for us.

“It is a fantastic platform for connecting the local business community and we are proud to play a part in bringing those conversations to life.”

Carl Jones, editor of Shropshire Business magazine, said: “We’re incredibly grateful to McPhillips for their support. It’s fantastic to have the reigning Shropshire Company of the Year on board with us – proving once again how keen they always are to support and celebrate the local business community.”

Chris Pritchard, editor of Shropshire Live, said: “This partnership with Shropshire Business allows us to bring even more voices, stories and insights to the local business community. It’s a fresh way to showcase the innovation and ambition that make Shropshire such a special place.”

The first three episodes feature interviews with McPhillips director Andrew Dunham, campaigners seeking to restore the county’s direct rail link to London, a best-selling author, and a star of TV’s hit show The Traitors.
