Directly employed by McPhillips. We keep over 220 people on our own books and own our plant, rather than assembling a team for each job. It is why people here tend to stay, and why most of our supervisors and managers came up through the company.

Yes, and around 20% of our current workforce started with us as apprentices — which is also the answer to what happens afterwards. We recruit across trades, engineering and site management, and we have done since 1964.

Yes. We are an accredited Living Wage employer, so everyone working on our sites is paid at least the real Living Wage — the independently calculated rate based on what it costs to live, not the legal minimum.
