A new fire training facility at Kingsbury Water Park.

Following a competitive tender, Warwickshire County Council appointed McPhillips to design and build a new training facility for Warwickshire Fire & Rescue on the site of a former outdoor-pursuits centre within Kingsbury Water Park.

The result

A 415m² single-storey building was cedar-reclad, reconfigured and extended by 170m² to provide a main lecture room, training rooms, changing facilities, reception, IT pods and incident-command offices — with highway, parking, drainage and a vehicle-rescue training area outside.
