McPhillips is currently on-site at Chester Zoo constructing the £2.5m Phase 1A enabling works for the Holding Areas project. When completed the Holding Areas is to be used as future temporary accommodation for species while permanent attractions within the Zoo are redeveloped. It is also hoped that the buildings due to be built on the site will become the centre for the Zoo’s important breeding and conservation activities.
