At McPhillips we’re delighted to have been selected by Shropshire Council to deliver the £2.1m Shrewsbury Integrated Transport Package: Town Centre Package 2 public realm enhancements.
Taking place in Shoplatch, Bellstone, Barker Street, Mardol, Roushill, and Claremont Street the improvements will see the construction of wider, natural stone footways with drainage alterations to suit, realignment of existing junctions and improvements to pedestrian crossing points.
Traffic sign upgrades and updated street furniture are proposed at all sites and new tree pits will be provided at Bellstone and Mardol.
Carriageways are to be resurfaced with areas paved in natural stone setts.
