Last week saw construction of the new bridge spanning the River Cole take a big step forwards at McPhillips’ Iron Lane Junction Improvement scheme in Stechford, Birmingham.
A 350 tonne mobile crane made short work of lifting 17nr, 21.5 tonne, 19m long reinforced concrete box beams onto the newly constructed parapets which will now enable us to build new carriageway in preparation for dualling the A4040 near to Stechford Retail Park.
