Work is proceeding apace at McPhillips’ £5.5m Iron Lane Junction Improvements in Birmingham.
Service diversions are taking place and excavation has been carried out alongside Station Road and Stechford Lane to prepare for the construction of a section of new highway widening between Burney Lane and Flaxley Road.
The central triangle in the existing gyratory between Station Road, Flaxley Road and Iron Lane has been cleared and excavated to enable the construction of two new traffic islands which will also provide access to Flaxley Parkway and the Stechford Retail Park.
