Fire Station Time Capsule Competition Winners

Congratulations were paid to the winners of the “Our World in 2079” Time Capsule competition during the capsule sealing event last week at the new £5m Wyre Forest Fire Station & Emergency Services Hub built by McPhillips in Kidderminster.

The event attended by Chief Fire Officer Nathan Travis, Station Commander Daryl Justice, Place Partnership Managing Director Andrew Pollard and McPhillips’ Managing Director Paul Inions saw the capsule sealed into the new reception area containing ideas for the future submitted by pupils from Bewdley Primary School, Birchen Coppice Primary Academy, Burlish Park Primary School and Sutton Park Primary RSA Academy.

Some great innovations were included in the capsule, which was fashioned from an empty fire extinguisher, including Fire Hydr8 drones equipped with lots of water, fire hoverboards and water bombs for fighting blazes and how we’ll see the environment get cleaned up while enjoying regular holidays on the moon.
