We’re pleased to have recently commenced on-site as principal contractor constructing a new Sainbury’s store at the junction of the A49 and A4117 Rocks Green, Ludlow.
We’ll be making improvements to the access widening Duncow Road, constructing a new traffic island and extending the existing junction with the A4117. A balanced cut & fill will level the site and the ground is due to be lime and cement stabilised.
169 customer car parking spaces will be provided using porous asphalt while concrete hardstandings to the rear will be used for store deliveries. Retaining walls will be built to the west and south of the site and we’ll be carrying out landscaping, lighting and installing electric car charging points.
When completed the development will provide a 31,478ft2 building with 17,665ft2 of fitted-out sales area.
