Denbighshire County Council Framework

McPhillips have been appointed to the Denbigh and Corwen Flood Risk Management Schemes Framework and been given 'Approved Contractor' status by Denbighshire County Council.
The contract is a three year framework which aims to reduce the risk of flooding for some of the most at risk communities in Wales through:
- Drainage infrastructure improvements and/or replacement (in both urban and rural environments).
- Land drainage improvements.
- Environmental enhancements.
- Associated civil engineering construction services.
- Input into buildability issues at design stage.
It is anticipated that the construction of the schemes will involve numerous phases of work scheduled between 2009 and 2012.
The Denbigh element of the Framework has been awarded European Convergance Funding.
